Karaoke frames

Beside the clothes, I will also talk about some curiosities of the movie! This bar really exists, its name is Redwood Bar & Grill! Is all decorated with naval theme, with many ropes, anchors, barrels and pictures of ships.

In the karaoke scene, there is a huge picture on the back of stage. Its a mermaid playing harp. and a ship in the background. The name of the picture is "Ship of death" from the artist Louie Metz.

I think the fact of Summer sing with mermaid picture in the background is related to the enchantment of the "siren song"?. By the way, did you know that it was Zooey herself who choose the song Sugar Town, Nancy Sinatra.

In the scene where they are at the table talking also has another mermaid frame made by the same artist.

The name of the painting is "The Redwood Siren". I read that he reformed this painting in 2013. Here you can see the new version.

This is one of the most iconic clothing of the movie in my opinion. The blue dress from the Ikea scene!

I bought the dress on Etsy, is from the 60s. It is blue with pearl buttons and slightly transparent, so I had to buy a beige slip to use underneath (I felt like a grandmother). X-D

The straw bag is the icing on the cake of all my productions! I managed to find one exactly equal on Ebay! I was so happy! (She could have used it more times in the movie...) \ o /

The is the look! It is one of my favorites! Let's do a little shopping at Ikea? ;-)

This is the dress she wears in the first kiss scene, in the copy room. I always thought it was pale blue, but if you look closely, you can see it's actually striped.

This bow gave a special touch. I bought it in a acessories shop.

This is the look! Although it's not super similar, liked how it turned out! Also, there is no way to dislike this cute dress, right? hehe

This is the outfit she wears in the karaoke scene on day 28. She uses that same gray pantaloons of other looks, a black lace blouse, and a beige vest with an oval brooch.

I found a very similar black top at the Bonprix site, just made an adjustment in the ruffles to make it closer to the original.

The vest I bought on AliExpress after searching a lot.

The brooch was more complicated. It needed to be oval, with a silver arabesque around, and a nightshade stone. Luckily I found a similar on Etsy site (holy Etsy with their vintage treasures!)

The pants was the same as the other looks, I bought on ebay.

This is the final look! I thought it was one of the most similar! I tried to create the same lighting as the movie. Now my video singing Sugar Town... ok, it's is a joke. :-P
