Expectations X Reality

I decided to put in one post all the looks of the film, in comparison with my version. Did it live up to the expectation? haha. What were the clothes that you like best?

Bonus DVD

And before we go for the last blog post, another bonus!

These is the outfit she wears in some versions of DVD. She's sideways, it's hard to see very well. A short, black, high waist, in sailor style, and the same blouse she wears at the office party.

Bonus Bus

This is the dress she uses the bus scene, early in the movie. The scene is black and white, and I could not find a color photo. I think the clothes are in this color, hehe. If you pay close attention you can see at a glance that she uses a vintage purse with pearls!

And this was the result! A good sweet outfit for a day of sightseeing!

Bonus Rent

Another bonus costume! This is the outfit she wears in the scene where she is renting the apartment where she lives. A white sleeveless blouse and a skirt to the knee, stamped.

The blouse is the same as the elevator scene. White, sleeveless.

This type of skirt is called the "Scenic Skirt" or "Novelty Skirt", for having these landscapes scenes. I ended up buying one with watercolor-like print style at the Cath Kidston store, when I went to London.

The print are field houses, with some chairs and umbrellas. Very cute!

Would I rent an apartment at a discount of 9.2% of the market value also ?? hehe. X-D

Bonus Bike

And before finalizing my project, I decided to write some bonus posts before the day 500, with outfits that appear quickly in flashback from the movie!

The first is the one she's using when cycling. A skirt flared at the knee, with a white tank top. The white blouse I have.

The skirt, though simple, I have not found in Brazil. I ended up buying in the Modcloth site.

And this was the outfit! Simple, but cute, great for a Sunday afternoon riding a bike! :-D

Day ( 488 )

This is the last time we see the Summer in the movie, when they say goodbye in the park. She is wearing a moss green blouse, a beige trenchcoat, a black pencil skirt, and a bronze necklace with stones in 3 turns. She is also wearing a briefcase type bag.

The most difficult in this look is the collar, it appears in most of the scene, since they are talking. The problem is that I have not found anything like it! I ordered one as close as possible from a girl who makes necklaces. It was very good, but I thought there was still a little something missing... that's when I decided to make some changes using some accessories I had, and it was perfect!
