Butterfly Brooch

Some people were curious about butterfly brooch I made for the first look, so I decided to make a tutorial for those who want to make a similar.

First I created a butterfly template on the computer, and printed it in the size I wanted. I used the template to mark and cut a plastic bottle.

To paint, I used 3 shades of blue enamel. I started with the lightest metallic, then the medium shade, and finished with dark blue to be the basis. It is important to paint on the back of the butterfly, so the metallic ink will be on the front!

Finally I drew some details using a projector pen and a silver pen. After that I glued a pin on the back, using hot glue, and voila! To make it easier to understand, I made a photo walkthrough!
